CHARLIE WILSON
Charlie Wilson is a Music Producer, Audio Engineer, Sound Designer, Composer, Musician and owner of Monolith Studios London.
Charlie began his musical career playing in bands such as Counting Days, TRC, Astroid Boys, Bun Dem Out, 50 Caliber, The King Blues and many more within the underground UK Hardcore, Metal and Punk scenes, gaining success in multiple bands along the way, playing major Festivals across Europe, touring throughout the world, extensive radio and TV play from the likes of Kerrang Radio, Kerrang TV, Scuzz Tv, Zane Lowe and Daniel P Carter on the BBC as well as having his music synced with the WWE, Adidas and the UFC all while staying true to himself and his brand of metal and hardcore with deep punk rock roots.
He first fell in love with music production while recording the debut album of his then band Counting Days at the legendary Studio Fredman in Gothenburg Sweden where he worked along side his somewhat Idols of music production in Fredrik Nordstrom and Henrik Udd (At The Gates, In Flames, Architects, BMTH) and once returning home he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the world of Music Production.
Once home he enrolled in SSR University in London where graduated with three Distinctions in Audio Engineering, Mixing and Mastering and Post Production for TV and Film.
Shortly after Graduating he opened his first recording studio Monolith Studio London where he offers world class recording, mixing and mastering and is quickly gain a reputation as “the place to go for heavy music in London".
At Monolith he works with a variety of band across Punk, Metal, Stoner and Rock spectrum while honing his skills and improving with every release.

Saujan rai
Saujan Rai, originally from Nepal and now based in London, UK, has dedicated over a decade to the music scene as a guitarist. His journey began with the London metal band Symbol of Orion and the hardcore band Graven Image. During his time with these bands, he contributed to a significant body of work, including four singles, two EPs, and a full-length album, spanning from 2009 to 2023. Each studio session deepened his interest in music production and engineering.
In 2020, Saujan took a pivotal step in his career by joining Monolith Studio as an intern, with the aim of becoming an audio engineer. His focus has been on
producing metal, hardcore, and rock bands. This hands-on studio experience, combined with his growing fascination for the technical side of music, led him to pursue higher education in Music Production. He earned both BA and MA
degrees, equipping himself with the contemporary knowledge and skills needed to navigate the evolving music industry.
Saujan is committed to helping musicians realise their true potential and artistic vision. His expertise in music creation and production is matched by a strong work ethic that values originality and authenticity. He strives to bring out the best performances from artists, preferring to capture the raw, living essence of a recording rather than relying heavily on digital correction. This approach
ensures that the music retains its emotional impact and organic feel.
Being part of Monolith Studio has given Saujan the opportunity to expand and express his musical knowledge, as well as gain insight into the real ins and outs of studio work. He began as an intern and later working alongside renowned producer Charlie Wilson as a recording engineer for bands such as Borstal, Negative Frame, Cruelty, Torchbearer, Higher Walls, Final Dose, Symbol of Orion, Graven Image, and Blood Gutter.
