CHARLIE WILSON
Charlie Wilson is a Music Producer, Audio Engineer, Sound Designer, Composer, Musician and owner of Monolith Studios London.
Charlie began his musical career playing in bands in bands such as Counting Days, TRC, Astroid Boys, Bun Dem Out, 50 Caliber, The King Blues and many more within the underground UK Hardcore, Metal and Punk scenes, gaining success in multiple bands along the way, playing major Festivals across Europe, touring throughout the world, extensive radio and TV play from the likes of Kerrang Radio, Kerrang TV, Scuzz Tv, Zane Lowe and Daniel P Carter on the BBC as well as having his music synced with the WWE, Adidas and the UFC all while staying true to himself and his brand of metal and hardcore with deep punk rock roots.
He first fell in love with music production while recording the debut album of his then band Counting Days at the legendary Studio Fredman in Gothenburg Sweden where he worked along side his somewhat Idols of music production in Fredrik Nordstrom and Henrik Udd (At The Gates, In Flames, Architects, BMTH) and once returning home he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the world of Music Production.
Once home he enrolled in SSR University in London where graduated with three Distinctions in Audio Engineering, Mixing and Mastering and Post Production for TV and Film.
Shortly after Graduating he opened his first recording studio Monolith Studio London where he offers world class recording, mixing and mastering and is quickly gain a reputation as “the place to go for heavy music in London".
At Monolith he works with a variety of band across Punk, Metal, Stoner and Rock spectrum while honing his skills and improving with every release.
